About
Danil Rogulin is a Hong Kong–based photographer drawn to the quiet details of the world around him — architectural forms, open landscapes, and the faces of people encountered along the way.
His work has taken him across Asia, Mongolia, and beyond, building a body of images shaped by curiosity and a sustained attention to place. His photograph of Hong Kong was selected for publication in The Economist, and his work was the subject of a permanent exhibition at the Consulate General of India in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
His photography moves between disciplines — from the geometry of urban architecture to the vast stillness of Central Asian landscapes and intimate travel portraiture. What connects these bodies of work is a consistent eye for the overlooked and the unhurried.
He lives on Lamma Island and prints all his work himself, in his studio, on archival fine-art paper.
Prints
A dedicated print shop is currently in the works. Soon you will be able to browse and purchase fine-art prints of Hong Kong directly from this site — organised into five collections: Urban Textures, Harbour & Light, Island Life, Street & Motion, and Monochrome. Each work will be offered as an archival pigment print, signed, in a single carefully chosen size — ready to hang.
Until the shop opens, prints are available by email. Write to danil.rogulin@gmail.com with the subject line “Print Inquiry” and include the image(s) you’re interested in and your location for a shipping quote. I respond within 48 hours.
